Leadership

Marwood is staffed by 15 volunteer counselors that have more than 250 years of experience at this camp, and a few college age alumni who make up our support team. Working in community, the campers, staff, and that which we call the Marwood Spirit, create the space and energy for campers to flourish, and this is one of the most unique parts of Marwood. The combined energy, passion and talent allow us to create a truly unique experience rooted in love and respect.  

The larger MUUYC organization is also under the caring stewardship of our counselor group. They manage our non-profit with all of its infrastructure and logistics, while also maintaining our UUA affiliation, among other heady and necessary things. It is only with their tireless assistance that we have these beautiful camp experiences each year. Thank you!!
